SHOA ensures confidentiality of the personal data of the users that sign up through the form or forms dedicated for this process on the website of SHOA. Without limiting its legal faculties, SHOA will only use personal information that has been voluntarily filled out in such forms by the user.
The personal information of the users will be used for the fulfillment of the stated purposes in the corresponding forms and always within the sphere of competences of SHOA.
The use of personal information of the users of the SHOA website will be subject to the confidentiality referred to in the article 436 of the Code of Military Justice, and the safety and security of the nation, as prescribed in article 15 of Law No. 19.628.
SHOA, in the case of being judicially directed, will provide the requested personal information of the users.
SHOA may communicate statistical information to third parties based on the personal data of the users, without the express consent of the user, providing that such data do not permit identification of individual users, as established by the Law.
The user may at any time exercise the rights granted by Law No. 19.628 and its subsequent modifications. Specifically:
- Request modification of its personal information when the information is incorrect or not updated, if such were the case;
- SRequest the elimination or cancellation of the information provided whenever the user decides, if such were the case;
- Request, in agreement with Law 19.628, a copy of the altered registry in the pertinent part, if such were the case.
Regarding the collection and treatment of data through automatized mechanisms in order to generate activity records of visitors and audience records, SHOA may only use this information for the preparation of reports that fulfill the specified objectives. Under any circumstances SHOA may not carry out operations that implicate associating such information to any identified or identifiable user.
